Sweet Snoopy

After a long and gloomy week, the sun has come out to play on this beautiful Friday! And the sun isn’t the only one. Meet Snoopy, your adoptable dog of the week.

Snoopy here has been a resident of Manatee County Animal Services since mid-February when he was brought in as a stray. He is a 7 years young pup that has been waiting patiently for someone to take a chance on a sweet, senior dog.

The staff at Animal Services believes he is a Beagle mix. He was dubbed as “Snoopy” obviously due to his unique black and white coloring. Snoopy is a medium sized dog weighing approximately 50-55 pounds. He is a very loving pup who enjoys the company of everyone he comes in contact with. Due to the kennel environment, it is unknown whether he gets along with other cats and dogs. If you have another pet in your home, a proper introduction with Snoopy should be made prior adoption.

Are you looking for a new addition? Snoopy would be perfect in any home. He is entering into his senior years which has quite a few benefits including being completely housebroken and he’s a more mature, laid-back lad. Feel free to contact Manatee Animal Services for more information by calling 941-742-5933 or visit their facility at 1002B Manatee Avenue West, 34205. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-4pm (closed on holidays).
