Long-time Resident Seeks Lasting Love

This week we’re giving a long-time shelter resident another shot here at Bradenton Dog. Cato here was originally posted back in November of 2011 and he is still in the adoptable circle at Bishop Animal Shelter. Almost 3 years since he came under our radar.

Cato here is a male, short-coat Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix. He is now approximately 5 1/2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. He is neutered and like all dogs at Bishop’s he is up-to-date on all of his routine shots.

He’d make a great exercise buddy as he loves to walk on a leash like a gentleman. According to his previous owners, Cato is good with children, he was an inside dog and is therefore fully house trained. Cato’s ideal home would be one where he could be the only animal star, as he does not get along with other dogs.

This handsome boy is just looking for a family and home to call his own. Contact Bishop Animal Shelter by calling 941-792-2863 or email them at to make an appointment to meet him today!
