Palmetto, October 25 – Due to a recent confiscation case which has resulted in the shelter reaching critical capacity, Manatee County Animal Services (MCAS) is waiving all adoption fees starting today through Saturday, October 29. “Adopt-O-Ween: Howls and Meows” is still scheduled for October 28-29.
WHAT: All dogs and cat adoption fees will be waived (regular adoption fee is $80 for dogs and $40 for cats.) All adoptions include spay/neuter, microchip and rabies certificate. Manatee County residents are required to license their new pet for an additional $15. Adoptable pets can be viewed at mymanatee.org/pets

WHEN: Tuesday, October 25 through Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Palmetto. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Bradenton.
